Cornerstone June Meeting, BBQ and Ride: See Update below!

Cornerstone Chapter June Meeting and Group Ride: Saturday, June 5, 11 am- ?
Officers and Brethren of Cornerstone Chapter:
To get the riding season off to a great start, I would like to host a BBQ lunch (BYOB and steaks) at my place and strongly encourage all Cornerstone members to attend. I will have potatoes, corn, and salad and buns here. The purpose of this get-together is fourfold:
1. To re-connect with Cornerstone members who have not been out riding much lately and need to meet all our new and old members. This portion of the day will be open to all: you can bring ladies and kids if you wish.
2. To turn in the Grand Chapter rockers with Cornerstone rockers, as the Grand Chapter rockers are now obsolete and must be returned. As we have had the opportunity to swap patches for half a year now, this will be the last chance to get the swap done for free. After this, it will cost you. You might even get a chance to have your rocker put on while at the BBQ free of charge…
3. To have our regular monthly meeting for June (WS and petitioners only).
4. To go over some group riding guidelines (yes, its preferable if you ride to the BBQ) and do a bit of practice in a vacant parking lot before going on a group ride planned by our Road Captain, Ken Glazebrook, Jr. Again, the ride is open to all: ladies who ride or ride with are welcome to come along.
This run will considered one of our mandatory runs this year for Cornerstone, you are required based on our bylaws to attend at least one mandatory run each season: your attendance at this gathering is crucial for the safe riding of us all when on group rides.
It will also give us a chance to share thoughts on the upcoming season and operation of Cornerstone Chapter. Also, if you have not paid your 2010 dues ($50.00) yet, this would be a good time to write that cheque so we can better support the charity of our choice.
Remember that it is mandatory to wear your Widows Sons vest to all official gatherings and meetings, so don’t leave it at home.
Please make arrangements to attend: you have three weeks to get things sorted and we’d like a great turnout for this one.
