Ivanhoe Installation
Masonry has survived for thousands of years because we continue to attract to our lodges the very best of men. Men of character, integrity, dedication and commitment. Men who stand steadfast in the face of adversity and who will yield to the need of others.
Such qualities were amply displayed on this evening, as the officers and brethren of Ivanhoe Lodge gave freely of their time and energy to ensure this night was as memorable as all Installations which have gone before it.
The work done by the officers was exemplary. Assistance of the brethren in general, served well as a true tribute to the man being installed in the chair of King Solomon. Within the Lodge Room the atmosphere of brotherly love and harmony was as beautiful as the finest Beethoven symphony.
I can say without hesitation or mental reservation the entire evening was as memorable as any I have attended.
So long as we have brothers amoung our members like those who were in attendance at Ivanhoe lodge, and as long as we continue to place in the East masons like our Widows Sons BrotherMartin Brown, Free Masonry will remain alive and well for another 3000 years.
