Don't Get Stranded

Brethren All:

I try each year to make a trip in the spring and again in the fall, after the summer rush is over. This year was no exception so five of us headed to B.C. to do the famous Revelstoke to Creston run.

It is the off season and a route I have traveled ore than once, so I felt confident I would be able to find accommodations.

I was very badly mistaken and nearly caught in a dangerous situation.

I was rescued by a young couple Rebbecca and William Jewell (250 265-8043) of Nakusp. Turns out they are building a beautiful small retreat especially for bikers. It turned out to be the best stay of our trip and I wanted to share this place with my brothers.

Sorry I could not figure out how to get my pictures into this blog. If you are interested in more details and wish to see some photos, log onto my personal blog at http://ridingiron.blogspot.com

While visiting the site you may wish to check out a post I did in the spring about one of or brothers Jay Byer. The title of that post is "Don't Judge a Man by his Leathers".

Wishing you all a very safe and joyous holiday season.

Brian
