An introduction to the Widows Sons

1. The Beginning

The concept of the Widows Sons Masonic Motorcycle Riders Association International was conceived by W.Bro. Carl Davenport in Chicago, Illinois in 2000. Through networking, posting on Masonic websites and other contacts, the foundation was laid for what would become an international organization with over a 1500 members today.

Sometimes in life, one needs to listen more carefully. My daughter came home from school one day last year and I asked the basic questions: how was school today? What did you do? The standard response from my 6 year old daughter would be suitably vague, focusing on recess more than anything else.
